The diaphragm's primary function is to create a barrier that can flex or move in response to pressure changes or mechanical forces.

1. Engine Intake and Exhaust Systems: Diaphragms are used in components such as carburetors, throttle bodies, and EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valves. They help regulate the flow of air or exhaust gases into and out of the engine, ensuring efficient combustion and emissions control.
