Double-Diaphragm Chambers:
Type 24: Double-diaphragm chambers like the Type 24 are used in heavy-duty applications, including large trucks, buses, and industrial machinery. They offer increased braking force compared to single-diaphragm chambers.
Type 30/30: The Type 30/30 chamber is a popular double-diaphragm chamber used in tandem axle brake systems, particularly on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. It provides even higher braking force and is well-suited for larger vehicles.
Type 30/36: This type of double-diaphragm chamber combines a Type 30 on one side and a Type 36 on the other. It is used in dual brake systems for added flexibility and control over braking force distribution.
Double-diaphragm chambers are more powerful and are commonly used in combination with other chambers in dual air brake systems to provide the necessary braking force for larger and heavier vehicles.
