1. When it is found that the braking of a wheel is not working, the brake air chamber should be checked. In the braking state, check whether the brake air chamber, air pipe or head of the wheel is leaking. If there is no air leakage, check whether the push rod of the brake air chamber is flexible and whether the strokes of the left and right push rods are consistent. When releasing the brake, check whether the camshaft can be returned flexibly. If it cannot be reset quickly, it means that the movement of the camshaft is inflexible and the return spring is weak. It should be lubricated, repaired or replaced.
2. If there is no problem with the above inspection, check the gap between the brake shoe and the brake drum, and check whether the brake shoe friction pad is oily. If there is a problem, it should be adjusted and cleaned. Otherwise, the brake should be disassembled, check whether the friction plate is hardened, whether the rivet is exposed, and whether the return spring is elastic.
