Air disc brakes require less maintenance

The Air Disc Brake Chamber sits horizontally on the bottom of your truck and has a small push rod that slides into the caliper's slide. When installing the new chamber, you need to hold it horizontally while releasing the latches. The push rod has a heavy-duty pull-back spring that holds the chamber in place when it is pushed in.
The cylinder's rolled edge ensures optimal diaphragm contact, and the cylinder is CNC-welded for superior strength and durability.
The Air Disc Brake Chamber has a dual circuit design, meaning that air is drawn from two separate tanks. These are then directed to the appropriate wheels on the vehicle. The primary circuit supplies air to the front wheels, while the secondary circuit supplies air to the rear wheels. This dual-circuit design ensures that the brakes continue to function in case one circuit fails.
Compared to drum brakes, air disc brakes require less maintenance and can be installed more quickly. This type of braking system also provides better control, and brake fade is less of a problem. Air disc rotors are lightweight and shed heat more easily than drum brake shoes. They are also designed to last more miles between service visits than their drum counterparts.
